The Cremation Mounds Much as cgi can be very complex and used for all kinds of reasons, sometimes a simple model with a basic camera move highlights the point, supporting what the presenter is describing. In this case, these ancient cremation mounds are simply, well, mounds! Each surrounded by a shallow ditch we chose to do a pull-back, adding a grey sombre mood to the shot. The screengrab on the right shows the setup - the mounds model, a single light backlighting the scene and the camera at the end of its move.
